Project EUCALIVA was present in the Biosensors and Bioelectronics Material symposium as well as in the Composite Materials Congress

The Biosensors and Bioelectronics Materials Symposium was a four-days international conference organized by the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) and VBRI Sverige AB as a sequence of Advance Materials Congress Series (AMC) during 03 – 06 June 2018 at Stockholm, Sweden.

The aim of the symposium was to cover the latest advances in biosensors and bioelectronics and related new age technology such as embedded bioelectronics interfaces such as mobile & digital healthcare systems and distributed diagnostics, and also to provide an interdisciplinary symposium for researchers, engineers and educators to present and discuss the most recent trends and paractical challenges encountered in the field of biosensors and Bioelctronics Materials.

In this framework, Biosensor s.r.l., through Maria Teresa Giardi who gave a keynote lecture on genetic modifications to biomimetics: innovative microrganisms based biosensors for environmental monitoring. In the presentation, the project EUCALIVA was described for the aspect to get biosensors based on innovative stretch electrodes.

The Composite Materials Congress (CMC) was carried out as a parallel event. CMC 2018 aims to bring together members of academia and industry having a legacy of advanced composite materials and new age technology to a common forum. During this congress, Maria Teresa Giardi chaired the Section on Synthesis, Processing and Applications. In this meeting, the project EUCALIVA was described for the aspect of innovative materials of stretch electrodes based on carbon-polyurethane.
